1. Premise , just a lab represents it just a lab full of curious scientists. The whole dynamic betwee Scilectra and the Professor was explained and nausea. In her (like Egyptian Monarchy)she wanted to keep bloodline clean by having a child with the man that made her into this new thing.

3 The Author does not have a view point. The authore is opening asking questions that people may ask on a whole about God
